Philosophy
I am someone who really appreciates the uniqueness of each
person. When I work with someone, no matter whether it is an adult, a
rebellious adolescent or a child with autism, my main focus is to find out who
that person is--strengths, challenges, gifts, wounds, values, beliefs and
personality. At the same time that we work together to overcome whatever
difficulties have brought that person to my office, we also work to preserve
and strengthen those aspects of self that the individual values and to empower
that person to honor him or herself in the way he or she lives daily life and
makes life choices.
